Rare John Aynsley,Lane End,Staffordshire pottery coffee pot circa manufacture date 1795.The pot is in very clean condition,the only restoration is at the finial . The decorated panels depict Brittania with lion with attributes above with the verse from Handels Oratoria Judas Maccabaeus"..."Come ever smiling Liberty,and with thee bring thy jocund train,For thee we pant and sigh for thee,with whom Eternal pleasures reign.The reverse panel has a rural landscape view and is signed J.Aynsley Lane End.
