Antique English/Scottish pottery jug in Pratt colors from circa 1795.
Crisp relief moulded with figures of The Parson,The Clerk and The Sexton who are well decorated by the hand painter.The pitcher has a circular plinth base which is an unusual feature.
Re;Griselda Lewis Book page which illustrates similar examples of the jug which have been attributed as Delftfield Glasow,Bovey Tracey Devon,and Staffordshire.
