A very rare massive pitcher in pearlware decorated with numerous transfer prints.The transfer prints illustrate images of The Pig Tythe and Jack Spritsail together with numerous examples of rural views. The pitcher is probably the production of one of the North East of England potters circa 1820. Restored chips and hairlines

Title : RARE HUGE SCALE PASTILLE BURNER

Reference: 1238

One of the largest and most unusual forms of Pastille Burner produced by the Staffordshire pottery in the early 19th century. The cottage top is removable and exposes a very striking base for holding the pastille incense cones. The pictures do not really show the large size of the piece which is very striking and decorative. Antique English porcelain circa 1820.
