Title : PRATTWARE JUG NAMED ROBERTS

An exceptionally decorated antique pottery pitcher in Prattware English or possibly Welsh pottery. The jug is well colored by hand with various farming tools and a spectacular sheaf of corn.. The legend around the rim reads "GOD SPEED THE PLOUGH" and the jug is dedicated to ROBERTS who was probably a farmer. The jug dates to the 1810 period.
