A very good pair of pearlware plates with pratt colour decoration of an unusually fine image of a peafowl.The plates are further enhanced by a well executed border decoration. Title : DON POTTERY BOTANICAL SET 24 PIECE

A flamboyant mixed floral hand decorated dessert service from the Don Pottery circa 1810/15 period comprising 24 pieces. A very similar service is located in the Bowes Museum Barnards Castle Yorkshire,and the National Museum of Scotland. The set is stunningly and boldly decorated by an unknown artist whose bouquet style is a unique way of illustrating botanicals on ceramics at the beginning of the 19th century.PROFILED OLYMPIA EXHIBITION CENTER FAIR JUNE 2010.

A very clean and well painted set of three plates from the St.Anthony Pottery Newcastle upon Tyne.The plates bear the impress mark SEWELL which Godden dates to the circa 1804/28. The plates are hand painted with a Persian Rose and are in wonderful condition.

A stunning antique pottery plaque/tile with a central handpainted scene of a house in a rural setting there are also handpainted vignettes of butterflies and birds all executed beautifully and in fine detail by the artist. Antique English or possibly Welsh circa 1810-20 period. The plaque is in very fine order with no restorations...a really unusual piece.
