A very good pair of pearlware plates with pratt colour decoration of an unusually fine image of a peafowl.The plates are further enhanced by a well executed border decoration. A flamboyant mixed floral hand decorated dessert service from the Don Pottery circa 1810/15 period comprising 24 pieces. A very similar service is located in the Bowes Museum Barnards Castle Yorkshire,and the National Museum of Scotland. A stunning antique pottery plaque/tile with a central handpainted scene of a house in a rural setting there are also handpainted vignettes of butterflies and birds all executed beautifully and in fine detail by the artist.
