A large and impressive antique Staffordshire pottery pearlware figure of a cow standing on a base.
This model was produced at the Wood and Caldwell factory in Burslem Staffordshire,England in circa 1815 .
Wood and Caldwell were one of the most famous potters in Staffordshire and this piece is a fine example of their workmanship and attention to detail.
