Antique pink luster pottery plaque from the Sunderland Potteries in the North East of England.Well executed underglaze transfer print of a French and British sailor shaking hands and each carrying a flag of their country. The legend reads MAY THEY EVER BE UNITED.The plaque is very clean condition with good lustre and no restorations. Circa 1850
