An unusual antique silver luster decorated pottery cream jug with underglaze blue trasnfer prints of A DANCING BEAR AND A FATHER RESCUING A CHILD FROM THE GEESE. Antique Staffordshire pottery period circa 1815. A rare and unrecorded example.

A highly decorated and large pink luster pitcher with rural scenes of a farm and hunting with a grand house in the background.The jug is dated 1814 and bears the legend "Rich,d Balchin Cr. Hill,SURREY. One of the best decorated pieces I have seen in pink luster it is likely that the scenes relate to the life of Richard Balchin in person.
