A rare large size figure of a standing poodle comically carrying a basket of flowers and fruit. The base of the figure bears rare impress mark for John and Rebecca Lloyd of Shelton Staffordshire. This stunning beautifully modelled figure dates to circa 1835/40 period.

A fine pair of antique Staffordshire pottery figures of cricket players circa 1865/75 period. It is suggested that this pair represent Julias Caeser (batsman) and George Parr (captain- holding ball and bat). Caeser and Parr were on the English cricket team which visited USA and Australia.PROFILED OLYMPIA EXHIBITION CENTER FAIR JUNE 2010.

Title : RARE SPONGEWARE TANKARD 19TH.C

Reference: 3166

Antique Scottish Pottery tankard with sponged decoration.The front of the tankard has a relief mould of a jolly or sad face depending on which way up the piece is turned. Jolly representing a FULL MUG probably of an alcholic beverage. Interestingly the base of the tankard bears the name in script of ROGER who may have been the recipient of the tankard as a gift? This rare piece is in very good condition and is an unrecorded example.
