Antique Staffordshire pottery figure group "Sherratt" Tam o Shanter circa 1820

Staffordshire pottery pearlware figure of Tam O Shanter modelled seated on an oblong base, this figure has been attributed to the Sherratt pottery based in Burslem Staffordshire and would date to the early 19th century period. The figure is inspired by the Robert Burns poem written in 1791.

Dimensions: 2.75 inch wide 7.50 inch high 3.50 inch deep

Medium: Staffordshire pottery pearlware ceramic earthenware

Current Condition Minor chip professionally restored.
