Antique Yorkshire Pottery Saving Bank in the form of the chapel at Mexborough.

Pottery figure of a Methodist Chapel in the form of a saving bank.
The model is flanked by whimsical figures of two large scale standing cherubs standing on each front corner.
The bank is inscribed SAVING BANK.
The actual Chapel building is still standing in Mexborough Yorkshire which is also where the piece was made at the local pottery.

Dimensions: 6.50 inch wide 6.75 inch high

Medium: pottery earthenware ceramic
