English delftware blue and white octaganol shaped plate with central image of a putti. Early 18th century London

A rare pair of blue and white delftware pottery octagonal shaped plates with the image of a putto surrounded by flowers. The border is decorated with trellis and pendent motifs and is probably from the Vauxhall Delftworks London. The plates can be acquired as a pair or as a single.

Diameter: 8.25inch

Medium: delft delftware tinglaze earthenware ceramic

Current Condition Fine condition with only minor fritting at the rim consistent with this type of ware from the early 18th century period.
