French pottery two handled jar, Auvergne early 18th century

Dated: c. 1700 to c. 1750 Auvergne France

A fine two handled earthenware jar of bulbous form with strong ribbed decoration and a wonderful olive green coloured glaze. Jars of this type were often used to hold walnut oil.The piece is in very fine condition with good decorative appeal.
