Antique Staffordshire pottery figure of a lion standing on a base with a paw resting on a ball made in the early 19th century. The figure is well coloured with a good pearlware glaze and dates to the early 19th century England. The application of the blue decoration around the base is especially appealing.

Dimensions: 5.50 inch wide 5.50 inch high 2.50 inch deep

Medium: pottery pearlware ceramic earthenware

Current Condition Professional restoration at the tail.
