Staffordshire pottery figure of a Suffolk Punch horse by Ralph Wood 18th century

Creamware pottery figure of a Suffolk Punch horse with colored glazes and produced by Master Potter and model sculptor Ralph Wood. The horse stands on a green base with a front leg raised, it is wearing a bridle with reins. This figure is exceptionally rare and was previously located in the Colonial Williamsburg Museum collection.

Dimensions: 8.00 inch wide 8.00 inch high 3.75 inch deep

Medium: creamware pottery ceramic earthenware

Current Condition Professional and good restoration at tips of ears, break-in front leg, and corner of the base.
