Wesleyan Chapel money box Mexborough Pottery Yorkshire named William Lockel

Antique pottery money bank in the form of a Wesleyan Chapel located in Mexborough Yorkshire.
The piece has the name WILLIAM LOCKEL in capital letters on the front between the two doors.
There is a slit in the back of the roof for saving the coins. The building is standing in Mexborough but is sadly no longer a chapel.

Dimensions: 6.00 inch wide 7.00 inch high 4.50 inch deep

Medium: pottery earthenware ceramic

Current Condition resotred at one foot and at one chimney, some feint discoloration at the bottom corner of the back wall.

Provenance: Jonathan Horne (retains label) Kensington London and then in Private Collection Stow on the Wold
