This large-sized Delftware pottery posset pot is polychrome decorated in the chinoiserie fashion with birds and flying insects in a flower garden. The curved spout and two strap handles are decorated with blue stripes. Made at the Bristol Delftworks at the start of the  18th century.

Dimensions: 6 inches high 10.75 inches long

Current Condition: Restored tip of spout and at two feint hairlines at the body
