An outstanding Staffordshire pottery figure group of St.George slaying the dragon. Strong Pratt colors, the blue mottled decoration on the horse is stunning, a most attractive and unusual feature, one of the best-colored examples produced. The modeling of the figure is inspired by the Ralph Wood mold 23.

Dimensions: 11 inches high

Current Condition: Restored , chip at plume of helmet, lance, horses ears , tail and front stepping leg.

Provenance: Private collection of a Nottinghamshire antique dealer.
