This large, deep-sided blue-and-white pottery dish is one of the rarest pieces of the Monks Rock pattern produced by Minton's of Staffordshire. The underglaze print is  derived from Julius Caesar Ibbotson's painting at Tenby, Pembrokeshire, Wales, which Samuel Middiman later engraved in 1813.      

Dimensions: 3 inches high, 13 inches wide, 16.75 inches long

Current Condition: Very fine condition with a minor feint stable hairline at the rim so fine left unrestored.

Description

This large, deep-sided blue-and-white pottery dish is one of the rarest pieces of the Monks Rock pattern produced by Minton’s of Staffordshire.
