This is a large-sized pearlware glazed pottery tureen. The cover and base are decorated with a simple blue band at the rim. The tureen has sweeping, well-defined fishtail handles and an impressive finial on the cover that resembles an artichoke with leaves. This handsome piece is strikingly decorative and of the quality expected of Josiah Wedgwood, the master potter. The piece is impressed WEDGWOOD in capitals.

Dimensions: 10 inches high 15.5 inches long

Current Condition: Some minor staining to the base dish.
