A pair of pearlware glazed pottery spill holders molded with figures of gardeners standing by a plinth with large vases and a mask head water fountain. The male figure stands with a spade, and his partner holds some flowers in the fold of her dress. The figures are depicted standing on rocky bases with an acanthus leaf border at the base; this theme is also decorated on the vases.    

Dimensions: 8.25 inches high

Current Condition: A feint hairline professionally restored at the back of vase.
