Two pottery pearlware figures of saddled horses standing on thin green-mottled colored bases. The horses are sponge decorated in shades of maroon and brown, a pleasing effect with the mustard, maroon, and blue striped saddle with its blue strap. Although not a pair in the conventional sense, they have traveled together for over 200 years. Made at the St. Anthony Pottert Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

Dimensions: 5.5 inches high 7.25 inches long

Current Condition: Very good condition, restored at ears, one tail re-attached.
