This large Staffordshire Pottery trumpet vase figure is the work of the Patriot Group. A gentleman and lady are modeled playing the flute and lute depicted together with their dog and cat. Other engaging details, such as the hats with scattered scarves and a music book seemingly placed on the stream between shells, are typical features of the Patriot Pottery.The enamel and glaze are of fine quality on this rare large-sized version.

Dimensions: 9 inches high

Current Condition: Tip of flute and lute and a minor chip at the rim of the vase restored by conservator of ceramics to the British Royal family..
