A Staffordshire pottery pearlware glaze enamel colored figure with oak leaf bocage representing the element of Fire. The male figure stands holding a magnifying glass in his right hand, setting fire to a bundle in his left hand. The base of the figure is titled in capital letters FIRE and is attributed to the Obadiah Sherratt Pottery.

Dimensions: 8.25 inches high

Current Condition: Minor restoration at base and bottom of the flaming bundle.

Literature: Myrna Schkolne Chapter 153 titled The Elements Volume 4 Staffordshire Figures 1780-1840 published by Shciffer.
