A Staffordshire pottery figure of a hound seated on a cobalt blue base, molded with a separate front leg and painted with underglaze black patches.. The figure  is expressively modeled and decorated with a regal head, the crown with "Disraeli" kiss curls. This outstanding piece  is one of the rarest  dog figures from the Staffordshire  potters in the  mid 19th century.

Dimensions: 10.25 inches high

Current Condition: Good condition with no restoration.
