A rare fine Swansea Pottery pearlware glazed puzzle jug with three nozzle spouts and reticulated decoration of diamonds and hearts at the neck. The body is painted in a Pratt-type color palette with flowers and leaves. This piece is the one featured in the classic E.Moreton Nance reference work Pottery and Porcelain of Swansea and Nantgarw ( Plate XVI). The label of The Sir Joseph Leslie Collection adds to the important provenance.

Current Condition: One spout was re-attached and there is an old chip under the base rim.
