A good Prattware pottery relief moulded plaque with Bacchus and nymphs. The plaque is very richly coloured and the relief mouldng is exceptionally deep and crisp denoting an early piece from the mould. There is a marked example in the National Museums Scotland which has been incised on the back with "Greenock 1818", suggesting it was made at the Clyde pottery.
