This English pottery delftware posset pot is decorated in blue and white in the chinoiserie fashion. The images show two seated Chinese figures, one holding a vase, in an ornamental garden setting. The two strap handles have neat rolled lower terminals.

Dimensions: 4.75 inches high 9 inches long

Current Condition: Restored 3 inch hairline at the body.

Provenance: Previously with Jonathan Horne in 1979 and then with the Graham Slater Collection.
