This English delftware marriage plate is decorated in manganese, blue and two shades of green with an image of a bird perched on a branch growing by a fence. The plate is inscribed " John Todd & Janet Sim 1756". The plate is illustrated in Lipski and Archer , Dated English Delftware page 133 figure 593.
